CHAPA EXPRESS TRAIN

Chapa Express Train is one of newest trains in Vietnam linking Hanoi to Lao Cai. The train has been operated since June, 2014. This is a professional train service ran by a reputable railway company - Sapa Petro Tourism Joint Stock Company. Having 7 cabins which can accommodate up to 28 passengers, Chapa Express Train promises to bring tourists a smooth and safe journey to one of the best destinations in Vietnam. Passengers will not only feel satisfied with its modern amenities, clean space, and cozy atmosphere but also useful staffs who are well-trained in both languages to assist guests anytime they need.

Chapa Express Train has 7 private cabins which are decorated in traditional Sa Pa designs and well-appointed with comfortable beds, air-condition, reading lights, luxury furniture, wood-paneling, clean toilets, hot water, and heaters. There will be also complimentary drinks (hot tea or coffee), snacks, and cold or hot towels to welcome passengers to get in the train.

Each cabin in Chapa Express Train has 4 berths which can be transferred to deluxe cabin with 2 berths upon guest’s requirement. In addition to above listed amenities, other available services in the train include slippers; candy, pie, or biscuits; mineral water; dental kit, com; and paper cup. It takes passengers approximately 8.5 hours to travel from Hanoi to Sa Pa by Chapa Express Train. The train departs everyday on the route between Hanoi and Lao Cai. It departs from Tran Quy Cap Railway Station (located at No.1, Tran Quy Cap Street, Hanoi City) at 22.00 and arrives at Sa Pa around 6.10 the following morning. On reverse route, the train returns from Lao Cai Station at 21.05 and arrives at Hanoi at 5.10 in the next day.
